C. Landate Irene Song - (Lc.Landate x Little Irene) x Lc.Mari's Song.

Bud Sheath: Cattleya have 3 types of bud sheaths a) Green b) Dry Brown or Yellow c) Wet / Mushy bud sheaths.
Bud sheaths are protective for Cattleyas. The green ones are seen during summer and the dry brown ones are seen in winter months. The cattleya's do bloom out from the both.
However the third type is the wet, mushy brown ones will definitely kill the bud. This need to be removed sensitively.
